Flight Command questions and answers.
What FCA is, what it does, and the boundaries that keep the user in command.
What is Flight Command A?
Flight Command A is a local-first Windows desktop workbench for people using ChatGPT on ongoing projects. It keeps project files, decisions, continuity, and next steps in a user-owned Workshop.
Does Flight Command replace ChatGPT?
No. ChatGPT provides the AI conversation and reasoning. Flight Command provides the local Workshop, project record, and bounded tools that help the work continue across conversations.
Does Flight Command give AI access to my whole computer?
No. Flight Command is designed to operate inside the Workshop you choose. It is not a general desktop search or control tool for your whole drive, Downloads folder, or personal files.
Does a new ChatGPT conversation automatically know my whole project?
No. A new conversation still needs orientation. Flight Command helps it regain footing from the selected project's verified records and retrieve exact files or decisions when the task calls for them.
Where do my Workshop files live?
Your Workshop and project files live locally on your Windows PC. You can inspect, copy, organize, and back them up as normal files.
Is Flight Command available now?
Yes. Flight Command A is available for 64-bit Windows PCs through Microsoft Store. The ChatGPT connection requires a supported ChatGPT account, the Flight Command connector, and successful pairing with FCA.
